Xiaomi recently launched their MIX 2S smartphone special edition which was inspired by beautiful art found at The British Museum.
Without the Xiaomi logo on the back panel of the phone, this collaboration was so seamless & well designed that consumers could easily mistake the phone for a souvenir from the British Museum.
By adding “The British Museum” to the beautiful packaging, the brand perception becomes especially enhanced.
From the moment the box is open, Xiaomi’s incredible detail and effort becomes apparent. They changed the cell phone case to a soft leather inspired by The British Museum. In addition, the co-branding is also highlighted on the back of the phone where Xiaomi printed “The British Museum – The Trustee of The British Museum.”
The British Museum inspired Xiaomi Smartphone even comes with a protective film that has an illustration of the Mailoica Dish with a logo of The British Museum.
Most importantly, Xiaomi specially designed the cellphone background/wallpaper, icons, and theme for this special edition in a way that perfectly incorporates The British Museum.
